The boss man comes through again.  This beautiful 1/25 model is mostly scratchbuilt and represents Jim Dunn’s NDRA Camaro from 1981.  He scratchbuilt the chassis, interior, fuel cell, rear suspension and rear spoiler.  He used Ron Coon Resin’s vacuum formed body and resin rear end, seat, roll cage, tires and wheels.  It was painted with Tamiya and Testors.  Decals are from Dennis Satorius at Dynomite Decals.  This guy is so good!

Mr. Jahsan brought in something different today, a 1/48 Schweizer LNS-1 glider that was used for Marine training.  This one is hanging up at the K-Zoo Air Zoo.
The model is a conversion of an unknown German made resin kit of a DFS glider.  Great job, Mark!

Home of the modeling savants....Celebrating forty years of modeling fun, education, and history in 2025!

We will kick things off the man himself….Mr. Doug Seekman!  First up is his 1/48 Great Wall Hobby TBD-1 Devastator as it appeared in May 1942 during the battle of the Coral Sea flying off the Lexington.  He painted it with Gunze and AK 3G, Eduard PE interior, Aeromaster decals, and it was weathered with Ammo by MIG washes and pastel scrub.  That is perfection.  Did I build that????  😉

And this concludes another glorious S&T!  See ya at the WS!

Next is his Hasegawa P-40E painted with Gunze Mr. Color, Qunitas 3D printed interior, Ultracast seat, Quickboost exhaust, ASK decals, and weathered with Ammo by MIG washes and pastels.  Doug said it was a good kit with a good fit that didn’t require any putty.  The model is in Australian markings as it would have appeared in Spring 1943.
