Home of the modeling savants....Celebrating forty years of modeling fun, education, and history in 2024!

Doug's second model: This is the Tamiya 1/48 Heinkel he-219a. Painted with model master enamel. Third group decals. Weathered with pastels. This one will happen again because I have a conversion by vector to do an earlier version with owl decals. Can't wait.

Without hesitation, Doug's models were my favorite this week.....  And of those, I liked the twin engine German one the best!!!  ;-)   See ya next time!

From newlywed Keith Lemke:  We are 2 weeks out from moving north. I was recently contacted by the Gilmore car museum to display my garage diorama for 2 years there. I have to call them today for more information.  Hope everyone is happy and well!  Don’t know when I'll see you guys again but keep me in the loop for events /shows. We'll be up my Traverse City (Mesick) so if you're up our way, doors open and we have extra bed at our new house. Best of luck to everyone there!! Traid was my first modeling club ever and was impressed by all the talent in our group.

Doug Seekman's first model: This is the ICM 1/48 Do-215b-5. Painted with gunze Mr color. Xtradecal decals; weathered with pastels. Highly enjoyed doing this one. For some reason icm kits are going together good for me.
