Here is his Hasegawa P-51D painted with Gunze Mr. Color, Aeromaster decals, weathered with Ammo by MG washes and pastels.  He does good work!

Spencer Kosc showed up with his Dad….who has a major broken leg.  He is still racing snowmobiles.  I have ordained Spencer as the mature adult in the family!  😉  Not only did he just graduate from college, he landed a job already…working at the same company as Doug Seekman.  I just hope he doesn’t learn any bad habits from Slacker Doug!  😉His model is a 1/72 Airfix P-40E Kitrtyhawk and he used a Tamiya paint mix from Spitfire MK. Vbtrop kit for the upper and lower surfaces.  He also mixed a custom blue using paints from Tamiya.  Most decals were from the kit with some from Hasegawa.  Sure nice having Spencer back in town instead of up north!

Doug Seekman’s first 1/48 model is this Accurate Miniatures B25-C painted with Hataka Lacquer, QuickBoost seats, superscale decals, weathered with Ammo by MIG washes, and Doug’s “pastel scrub”.

Alan Vandam was fashionable late, and it was sure great to see him!  He showed off his gorgeous 1/48 Tamiya Stug III.  Not the fantastic whitewash which he utilized the hairspray technique…from a spray bottle…not the aerosol type!Fantastic, Alan!

Home of the modeling savants....Celebrating forty years of modeling fun, education, and history in 2024!

Next is his beautiful P-47D Razorback.  Doug said this twenty year old kit was a great fit.  He painted it with Hataka lacquer, Eduard “Space” interior, QuickBoost seat, SuperScale decals, weathered with Ammo, weathered with Ammo by MIG and washes.  Bob Johnson was the pilot.  Another aircraft beauty from Doug!

Mark Jahsan brought in his fantastic 1/32 Trumpeter F8F-2 Bearcat.  He built it out of the box and this plane flew off the USS Boxer in 1952. He incorporated a PE seatbelt.  Sooo good!

Well, that’s all folks!  See ya in two weeks for another rousing Work Session!
